School District Partnership
A World Fit For Kids! (WFIT) has enjoyed a formal partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District since 1999, the year the district launched its Beyond the Bell (BTB) branch to formally oversee and set standards for afterschool program delivery. This relationship provides access to federal and state grant funding to augment our private fundraising efforts and allows us to reach greater numbers of students at more locations and expand our social, environmental and economic impact. As a recognized service provider for the nation’s second largest school district, WFIT is committed to furthering BTB’s mission of providing high quality, safe and supervised education, enrichment and recreation programs that engage and inspire learning.
